41st  ANNUAL KENTUCKY SPELEOFEST

HART COUNTY CIVIL WAR DAYS

HORSE CAVE HERITAGE FESTIVAL
Horse Cave also celebrates its rich heritage each September with a local festival.  The event is particularly well known for its musical entertainment, from rock & roll to gospel. Bacon Creek Station Celebration
Bonnieville’s invites you to come to our Bacon Creek Station Celebration and commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War. Bonnieville was originally established as Bacon Creek Station in 1849. During the Rebellion, Bacon Creek/Bonnieville was designated as Camp Jefferson. Witness encampments on the original site of Camp Jefferson. Fireworks display, Parade, "Jenny Lind" scheduled to entertain the troops, community pot luck dinners, Saturday night barn dance, featuring 1860's music, one-act plays, music. Meet dignitaries and officers on both sides of the rebellion. Sunday Community Church Service. Free and open to all ages. Dress in old time clothes and come be a part of our remembrance weekend.
